Hi,
I have recently purchased an M5 and would like to add some surround speakers.
To be honest I'm not sure what is best to go for.
I've had a quick look on the Richer Sounds website and in my local shops and seen that you can buy speaker packages that look like they have an amplifier built in - are these any good?
The sort of thing I'm looking for are 2 pairs of very small speakers (a pair to go behind each sofa) and a subwoofer.
I've seen a little Sony DVD player with amp/speakers etc for sale everywhere for about £500 - It looked pretty smart and the speakers sounded great (but not very loud), but I couldn't afford that much and I didn't want to put 'all my eggs in one basket' incase it broke.
I saw on the Richer Sounds website that they have an Aiwa sub with a built in amp - would that just connect straight into the 'sub' output on the back of the M5? If so would it sound any good?
If I need to get an amp then what do I need to look for, is it best to go for a dolby 5.1 amp?
So many questions I know!
Thanks in advance for your help.
Regards, Adam.
